Conservation:

• Amphibian Ark - The AArk is a joint effort of 3 conservation organizations.  Their mission is to ensure the global survival of amphibians – focusing on those that cannot be safeguarded in nature. An amazing project to act now to stop the greatest extinction crisis humanity has ever faced.
• European Studbook Foundation - The ESF is a non-profit organization that hosts the studbooks of many endangered reptiles and amphibians, including Tylototriton sp.
• Cites - Homepage of the Cites convention that deals with the trade in endangered species of wild flora and fauna.
• EAZA - European Association of Zoos and Aquaria homepage.
• Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden - KFBG plays an active role in promoting the conservation and biodiversity in Hong Kong and South China, allied with sustainable agriculture and creative nature education.
• ARKive - Project to gather photos of the worlds endangered wildlife species.
• Amphibiaweb.org - Accurate accounts and photographs of many species of amphibians.
• Global Amphibians - Site about the conservation status of the world's 5,918 known species of frogs, toads, salamanders, and caecilians. This website presents results of the assessments, including IUCN Red List threat category, range map, ecology information, and other data for every amphibian species.

• Caudata.org forum - The most extensive forum on the internet dealing with salamanders and newts.
• Caudata Culture - Very good site, with photographs, caresheets and articles concerning salamanders and newts.
• Cynops Registry - Paul Bachhausen's registry for the conservation and preservation of Cynops species. There is also information available on other genera.
• Dutch Salamander Society - Homepage of the Dutch Salamander Society, with information on events and interesting articles.
• Gymnophiona.org - Nate Nelson's very professional site about caecilians.
• AG Urodela - Official site from the German Urodela Group.
• Axolotl.org - Site dedicated to this well known species, with lots of information.
