Welcome to Tylototriton.org

Asia supports a great diversity of salamanders and newts. These fascinating amphibians are in continuous decline as a result of human action: climate change, pet trade, habitat loss and pollution all take their toll. Tylototriton.org hopes to provide people with up-to-date information about the ecology, conservation and taxonomy of these species, so that we can maintain hope upon a brighter future for these animals in the wild and in captivity.
